Hope for Afghan Children

Ian Pounds spent five months volunteering at the AFCECO orphanages in Kabul. Many of you will have read his journal and seen his video clips on YouTube. I've just had the chance to meet Ian in the flesh and I felt like I already knew him.

Ian has returned to the US and will be spending the next months of his life travelling the country promoting the work of AFCECO. He has already started talking to schools in the northeast and has had an enthusiastic reception. People are eager for good information about Afghanistan.

We'll be putting up a special page on this site to publicise Ian's travels and workshops and to encourage you to get him to your community. We'll post a schedule and some of his promotional video clips, so look for that to appear as soon as I get back from my vacation and onto a decent Internet connection.
