Hope for Afghan Children

I would like to welcome all our new child sponsors to this website and these forums.  I currently sponsor 10 children in the orphanages in Kabul, nine girls and one little boy.  I am in love with each and every one of them.  And although I have been doing this for several years, and Andeisha (my "Afghan daughter") came to my home to visit and work in 2007, until this past year I did not know a single other person who was sponsoring an AFCECO child.  Rose Vines, Terry Cardwell, Kristen Rouse and I met on Facebook, when we discovered that each of us was an orphanage supporter.  And being able to talk about our experiences, teach each other what we have learned, and work on new ways to make things better for these wonderful children has made a world of difference.

And now we all, old-timers and newcomers, have our place.
