If you don't register, you'll be able to view some of the groups, but you won't be able to take an active part in the discussion. Once you register, you'll be given 'Member' status and you'll be able to reply to posts, post new messages, and create a member profile visible to other members.

The discussion groups are divided into Forums and Topics. Have a look through the forums and try to post new topics to the appropriate forum. Simply click the 'Add a New Topic' button to create a new post. (Note: If you think we need an additional forum, reply to this post with your ideas.) Use the 'Reply to Post' button to respond.

Profile

Use the Profile button near the top right of the discussions to change your password and, if you like, add a few details about yourself.

Subscribing to discussions

You'll see Group RSS buttons at the top of each discussion group and you'll also find 'Subscribe to this topic' buttons on individual posts. If you'd like to be notified when any new posts are added to a particular discussion group or when someone comments on a particular topic, use these buttons.

A work in progress

We haven't yet finished building the discussion groups, so expect quite a few changes. We'll be adding introductory posts to each of the forums and expanding on this help section, so check back soon for more. We'll remove this notice once the groups are fully ready for your participation.
